Currently, I am finding the prices of oil, natural gas, and other hydrocarbons. The prices I strive to find are the current prices, and the past prices. Based upon those values, future projections can be made. These prices are essential in determining the monetary value of any oil reserves in ANWR, and thus constitute a significant part of "Hydocarbon Potential." These are links to source articles (mainly pdf's), and my own summary. The summary itself has been updated, and it is where the 'snapshot' of my doings lay. The "Summary of Knowledge (wrtANWR&DefA)" is out!!!!! This contains the information compiled from the entire Team 1, including the up-to-date table of 'value of hydrocarbons' in ANWR. Aside from compiling statistics from those online articles (from OPEC, American Petroluem Institute, several news agencies, American Geological Survey, etc.), I am also working on an interactive applet that would allow a user to modify oil volume and price and determine the feasibility of ANWR. More on that soon.
