Transfering Data to the Computer from your iPAQ
Last week, some of you collected data that in the next few weeks you'll use to create a mock geological map. The first step is to move all the data from your iPAQ to your computer.
Instructions for transfering data
Since the data on each individual iPAQ is only a subset of all the data you need, make sure to download the data from all the iPAQs onto your computer. Make sure you don't overwrite other data by putting them in different folders and what not.

You'll want to merge your data to make master shapefiles. For instance, you'll merge the three lithology shapefiles (from the three iPAQs) to make a master lithology file.
Last, create a symbology to represent things like foliations, lineations and lithologies.
