According to the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) website, the MBTA (affectionately called the T) is not only one of the oldest public transit systems in the US, but it is also the largest in Massachusetts. In fact the T was founded in 1897 and opened North America's first subway tunnel in that same year. Seeing as the T has been around for over one hundred years, it would seem that the user-experience should be perfected. Yet, on its own website, the T asks for help with innovation, specifically asking for proposals that have the potential to improve rider experience! I will use this website to propose some improvements by evaluating current user's experiences on the T.
