Bluebikes registration and renewal
Follow these instructions to sign up or renew as a member of the MIT group. NOTE: Unpaid postdoctoral fellows or research fellows, see separate instructions.
If you want to join Bluebikes as a new member, be sure to sign up using this MIT group code: nmAn3nNX.
Here are more detailed instructions about how to join Bluebikes as a new member:
- Visit the Bluebikes page for members who are joining as part of a group. (If you accidently find yourself on the sign-up page for individual members, click on the link that says “I’m eligible for a Group/Corporate Discount.”)
- Select MIT from the groups listed in the drop-down menu.
- You will then be prompted to enter the required program code: nmAn3nNX.
Please note that a valid MIT email and credit card are required to complete your membership sign-up.
- On the next form, you will be asked to choose how you would like to receive your bike key. We recommend that you choose “Send the bike key to my address” and be sure to use your mailing address (where the key would be mailed) when you fill out the address section. If you opt to pick up a bike key at a bike station, be sure to contact Bluebikes for more detailed instructions.
- Please note that Bluebikes membership autorenewal is not available to members of a group. For each year that you want a Bluebikes membership, you will need to register using the MIT program code to receive the discount.
