Cleaning
Offices, labs, and classrooms are cleaned on a regular basis. Submit requests for upholstery or other special cleaning services.

Events
Setup of chairs, tables, and equipment for indoor or outdoor events is available on request.

Keys & Locks
Request room and building keys or lock changes through online forms.

Mailing & More
Services include daily mail and package delivery and pickup at more than 40 campus boxes. Submit requests for bulk mailings or special services like wrapping.

Moving
Submit requests to arrange for office or lab furniture moves within or between buildings or near campus.

Pest Control
Facilities staff arranges for the removal of pests in MIT buildings and on campus.

Renovations & Space Changes
Most renovations involve space planning review, design, and construction services. Facilities project managers develop concepts and hire architects, engineers, and builders for major projects.

Repairs & Installations
Submit requests for building repairs or equipment installations, then track the work order to check for scheduled services.

Trash & Recycling
Facilities staff provides daily trash removal and recycling bins for offices and outdoor sites. MIT’s recycling program targets multiple paper types, bottles, toner cartridges, computer monitors, and more.
