Committee for Renovation and Space Planning (CRSP)

Do you need to renovate your office or laboratory, initiate a renovation for a new faculty member or plan for a possible renovation? If so, you are in the right place.

MIT’s Department of Facilities’ Campus Construction collaborates with you and the Office of the Provost to build successful, cost effective projects with the approval of the Committee for Renovation and Space Planning (CRSP).

CRSP is the steward of MIT’s campus, responsible for all campus space assignments as well as assuring that the campus meets the current and future needs of the Institute.

Each year, Campus Construction successfully completes approximately 75 renovation projects. We work collaboratively with designers and contractors, hiring professionals to assure all building codes and regulations are addressed. We coordinate all the various MIT entities to assist you with your project.
