Overview

Airline Industry Consortium

The MIT Airline Industry Consortium is an outgrowth of the MIT Global Airline Industry Program, sponsored by the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation. Its goal is to engage industry stakeholders in the next phase of the Program's research and to provide a forum for addressing key issues facing the airline industry during this critical period of transformation. The Consortium membership includes invited airlines, aircraft manufacturers, aviation consultants, information technology suppliers, airports and infrastructure providers, labor groups and government agencies.

Members of the MIT Airline Industry Consortium support and participate in the research and educational efforts of the Global Airline Industry Program, and contribute to the development of our strategic aviation research agenda. Consortium members are invited to attend several Global Airline Industry Program events each year, including an annual review our research activities and topical forums on key industry issues. Member benefits are described in more detail below.
