Userids for CAO Systems

SumMIT with Oracle requires an Oracle userid. The CAO mainframe systems on MITVMA require MIDAS userids on MITVMA. The table below describes how to get the userids you need.

SumMIT with Oracle runs on Windows (XP pro or 2000 pro) and Mac (G3 or G4, running OS 9 or OS X with the classic environment)

CAO systems on MITVMA With a MIDAS userid, you can run CAO's mainframe systems on MITVMA.
To get a MIDAS userid for these systems,

call IS at 3-1104 (or e-mail computer-help@mit.edu)

Note: The timesheet systems on MITVMA can be used as backup systems for SumMIT's E-Time.
