ClubChem Buddies

ClubChem Buddies is a mentoring program matches sophomore chemistry majors with upperclassmen who have a background in chemistry, either chemistry majors or those who have taken upper division chemistry courses. Matchups typically occur in November.

Interested? There are two ways to get involved:

Mentors

If you are an upperclassmen (class of 2007 or 2008) you can become a mentor. You'll get a chance to interact with the incoming class and offer advice about which class loads work best, what resources will make life in lab easier, how to find a UROP, and everything else you wish someone had told you when you declared.

If interested, please send mail to cerny@mit.edu and you will receive additional information and an application.

Little Buddies

Are you a sophomore or freshman interested in chemistry? Do you want to be matched with an upperclassman who can answer your questions about classes, labs, or the chemistry major in general? Then you are eligible to become a little buddy.

If interested, please send mail to cerny@mit.edu and you will receive additional information and an application.
