Dr. Marlene Grenon, Ph.D

Vascular Surgery
Dr. Marlene Grenon is currently a vascular surgery fellow at the University of British Columbia and a research affiliate with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). She received a diploma in space sciences from the International Space University in 1998, a medical doctorate from McGill University in 2000, a Masters degree in clinical investigations from Harvard Medical School in 2004. She completed a post-doctoral research fellowship in cardiovascular space medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital and MIT in 2004, and a residency in cardiac surgery at McGill University in 2007. She is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada. She has been actively involved in aerospace medicine and surgical research. Her main interests include cardiovascular physiology, medical and surgical care in microgravity, and technical developments in vascular and endovascular surgery.
