Special Event Venues
MIT offers many unique venues to suit a variety of special events from formal dinners to trade shows. Lawn areas can be reserved for placement of tents or for casual outdoor parties.
The Faculty Club offers formal dining rooms with spectacular views of the Charles River.
Morss Hall is an elegant dining hall which features Doric columns and a series of murals by Edwin Blashfield. The Hall can accommodate 400 at banquet rounds.
The MIT Museum offers intriguing exhibits as a backdrop to events and can accommodate up to 250 guests for a reception or buffet dinner, or up to 85 guests for a seated dinner, depending on the current exhibition.
Kresge Oval and the nearby BBQ pits offer grassy areas for outdoor or tented events.
