Join Us

The DSpace project is an ongoing collaborative effort of several groups. On the corporate level there are the MIT Libraries and Hewlett-Packard Company. These organizations are driving the funding and general architecture of this digital archive. They, in turn, are working with developers and software designers, librarians and knowledge management specialists who are designing DSpace to meet the needs of the MIT community.

Early Adopters

Four communities at MIT are helping us this summer in a beta-test of the system. In the Fall of 2002, DSpace will begin accepting content from other MIT communities. If you would like to set up a community, contact Margret Branschofsky at 3-1293 or margretb@mit.edu.

We Want to Hear From You

An important part of our development process is to gather as much information as possible from the community and to incorporate these ideas and requirements into the design of DSpace. All faculty interested in sharing thoughts and ideas about DSpace, should contact Margret Branschofsky at 3-1293 or margretb@mit.edu.

Mailing List

If you want to receive updates about our progress, be sure to sign up for the DSpace mailing list.
