Single session event
This session will introduce new users to electron probe microanalysis (EPMA) and the JEOL JXA-8200 Superprobe. Demonstration and discussion topics will include chemical analysis through wavelength and energy dispersive spectrometry (EDS and WDS), and imaging with back-scattered electrons (BSE), secondary electrons (SE), x-rays (elemental mapping) and cathodoluminescence (CL).
