Participants are asked to arrange their own accomodations. However, two hotels will reserve blocks of rooms at favorable rates. NOTE THAT THESE RATES EXPIRE AT THE DATES LISTED BELOW. Both hotels are near a metro station and/or provide shuttle service. Note that CUA has its own metro stop on the red line at Brookland (see the DC Metro map for details). Please mention the "Catholic University Electron-Ion Collider Meeting" when making your reservation.
The Comfort Inn, College Park is located on the green line 4-5 stops from the university. The hotel provides shuttle service to the College Park and the Greenbelt metro stations. The rate is $99/night inlcuding breakfast (Expiration date: 7/2/10).
The Crowne Plaza, Silver Spring, is located seven miles from DC and within three blocks of the Silver Spring metro station, 3 stops from the CUA campus. The organizers have blocked of rooms at a rate of $119/night (Expiration date: 7/7/10).
