WELCOME
TO HAMLETS
A
PROTOTYPE FOR THEATRICAL PERFORMANCE ARCHIVING
This
website is an exploration of the creative process that gave birth to the
first run of HamletS, a deconstructed version of Hamlet.
It was directed by Janet Sonenberg, and the cast were all MIT students.
The pre-production took place during the Fall Term of 2002 at the Theater
Arts Department at MIT; then rehearsals extended througout the IAP of
2003. The production ran at Little Kresge Theater in February 6th-8th
and 13th-15th, 2003
The
archives can be browsed in a variety of ways. You can learn more about
the archive and the concept and story of the play by through the links
