What is How To Get Around
MIT?
How To Get Around MIT is a comprehensive guidebook to MIT,
its campus and history, academic and recreational facilities, and life
in the greater Cambridge/Boston area, produced as a non-profit service
by volunteer MIT students, alumni and community members. We do our
best to design it both to welcome all new members of the MIT
community, and to act as a reference resource for those who have
already settled in here. We aim to cover everything from issues that
international students may face, to information about renting an
apartment or buying a car, to restaurants, movies and sightseeing in
the area. The book is also an MIT tradition that goes back over 30 years
and an officially recognized MIT student activity.
