Chess Set

This is my first 3D project using Form-Z. Mouse over individual pieces (or links) to get a full scale image. Click on Quicktime VR links to view the pieces in 3-D mode. Warning: .mov files are 2.6Mb, it will take awhile to load.

Chomper

This stuffed beaver was modeled in Rhino and rendered in Form-Z. The surfaces are actually "asphalt" except for his eyes and nose. The first version was rendered in Rhino and I have been told it's cuter than the real thing.

Chomper currently serves as wallpaper on the desktop of my ex-roommate, Laura, who is currently in UCSD grad school.

Chess Set 2

I went back and rounded the chess board corners and re-rendered the chess pieces with better colors and reflections. Here you see version 2 of the chess set, which is the version used in my VRML MargArt gallery.
