InterVarsity is a student-oriented ministry found at colleges and universities in over 600 chapers all over the U.S. IVCF employs over 500 staffworkers who minister to 25,000 actively involved students.

Vision Statement


In response to God's love, grace, and truth:
The purpose of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA is to establish and advance at colleges and universities witnessing communities of students and faculty who follow Jesus as Savior and Lord:
growing in love for God, God's word, God's purpose of every ethnicity and culture and God's purposes in the world.

Statement of Faith


We believe in:
  • The unique Divine inspiration, entire trustworthiness, and authority of the Bible.
  • The Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ.
  • The necessity and efficacy of the substitutionary death of Jesus Christ for the redemption of the world, and the historic fact of His bodily ressurection.
  • The presence and power of the Holy Spirit in the work of regeneration.
  • The expectation of the personal return of our Lord Jesus Christ.
