Snow Policy: The game will be held unless MIT closes or conditions are expected to be treacherous: our last cancellations were 3-15-2017, 2-10-2015, 1-27-2015 and 2-1-2011. In the rare event that the game is cancelled, a notice will posted here and also sent to the mitdlbc mailing list. Do not park on Memorial Drive or other designated areas during a snow emergency - you will be towed! MIT's emergency page is emergency.mit.net. MIT's snow number is 617-253-SNOW (3-7669).
All club hands are computer dealt and come with hand records. Game time is 6:30 PM: see General Information

First, and most important, I hope everyone is safe and healthy!
Good news (We deserve some!) about Bridge. The clubs around Boston have joined together to have virtual clubs online at Bridge Base Online (BBO).
To make the virtual experience more like the real one, registration for these games has been limited to people who had played at the club before the time of plague. MIT/DL is now a part of the Tuesday night game. The game is offered on BBO under the banner of OneWorld Boston.
Here is a message from Mark Throop containing information about 7NT World, where we had our weekly games during the COVID-19 emergency:
It starts at 7:10 pm(EDT), and you can register up to 2 hours before. The cost is $6 of eMoney (BB$). You register with your partner (make sure he or she is online also!) and can use one of the standard convention cards provided by BBO, or create your own.
If you are unfamiliar with Bridge Base Online, there is a great tutorial online: BBO Guide for New Players.
Briefly, Go to BBO, create an account if you don't have one (free), logon and get some BB$. You'll find the game under Competitive-->ACBL Virtual Clubs-->Pending-->OneWorld Boston. Click on the game and register. Make sure your partner is online. Play starts promptly, so be ready!
I am not a pro at this, but I've learned some things over April:
