Orhan 2 Day 49 TE 6064

Next time, Ordainer fight!

Teh ordainer arrive and we attack. Kyrik and Haeraan take massive amounts of damage, but Imre heals them up nicely.

Haeraan's pants are set on fire. He fights with flaming pants. There are heat crits everywhere.

Sadly, we are surviving by Alynna casting Bladeturn on the attack every time. So the demon gets fed up and kills Alynna in a bow. (Well, two simultaneous blows.)

Kyrik and Oathar go bezerk! They slay the demon, but he gets one remainin ground of action before perishing.

In that final round, the ordainer kills both Haeraan and Oathar.

Wow, three dead.

Everyones soul gets staples before they depart. Imre manages to raise Haeraan and Oathar with Kyrik's help. Oathar crawls into a healing/mana circle and starts to regenerate.

Imre notices that Kyrik is covered with severe burns befor ehe can get to Alynna, so starts working on him.

Imre puts Alynna back together but she has d10 days of recovery time. Luckily, that's 1.

When everyone is put back together, we head back to the Chosen One. Alynna thinks she looks different.

Alynna thinks that teh Chosen One no longer has three paths. Nor does she have the demon's hoped for fourth path. Now she has the mysterious complicated path.

We rest. Alynna dreams: There are five cats. They adventure together. They come along and find a new land with a big ball of string in it. The cats pounce and string goes everywhere. They are all tangled up in it. There's no extricating themselves from it. They fuss around with the ball, but it gets complicated. There's no untangling themselves from the ball no matter how much they try.

Orhan 2 Day 50 TE 6064

There are calls to rest. Let's get some confort.

Orhan 2 Day 51 TE 6064

We submerge ourselves in decadence for a few days. We give the chosen one to Sheridan to prepare. We go into the fanciest inn in town. We pay for the deluxe suites. We get tailors to come in and make all new clothing. The bard attends us while we're getting fitted, etc. We get lunch with soup and sandwhiches.

Orhan 2 Day 53 TE 6064

They dream again: there's three streams coming out of the river delta. Then the delta shifts and there are dozens of streams coming down. Madness.

Haeraan dreams of a fight in the collusem. One finally concedes and it's all ordinary. The next bout of teh day is crazy and there's madness, and killing and slaying and it's all messy, and the winner goes "Yes." "Victory and death!"

There's lots of crazy futures in store for her, everythign from dark empress (black throne with elven zombies) to universal savior. There's one of her raising her flag above SelKai. She's has tea in our villa, or she kills us in our villa. It's like her destiny has been blended.

Orhan 2 Day 55 TE 6064

We decide to investigate her tripartite enemy before we power her up. We've got time to kill in any case.

We investigate the battles themselves. They happen in a cave and no one really knows what goes on during it. Other than "Two men enter, one man leaves."

Orhan 2 Day 57 TE 6064

We decide to investigate the tower of the Black Orchid leader. It's kind of hard to find though, but we gather it's in the swamp.

Orhan 2 Day 59 TE 6064

We talk to Sheridan. Apparently, Elena has never been really intrested int he world, but now she's studying it constantly. Yup, we broke her. She's especailly interested in world cultures and psychology in a way she is not interested in physical sciences or non-people lores.

Kyrik teaches her about Kieronalia. ...and the glory of vast magical power. Oh dear. Haeraan sweeps in with a more moral lecture.

Sadly, she's highly elf-o-centric and doesn't really believe in the value of mere human lives.

Haeraan tries the whole strong should protect the weak tact and starts getting through to her slowly.
