5:00 - 6:00 PM - Memorial Session

Parking: On Saturday, October 15th participants may park in any non-gated lot on campus. A link to the two closest lots can be found here: Alumni Day Parking

Shuttle: We will be running a shuttle from the Tang Center (building E51) to the Hyatt Regency from 6:00 - 7:00 PM. A shuttle from the Hyatt Regency to the Marriott Hotel and back to the Tang Center and will run from 9:15 - 10:15 PM.

Sunday Activities

The ORC students have planned three social activities for you to continue to mingle with other participants in an informal setting on Sunday, October 16th. The costs of these activities are NOT included in the conference registration fee.  If you are interested in participating, please meet at the ORC at 10:30 am on Sunday morning to meet your respective student coordinators listed below.

1) Arnold Arboretum

Expected Cost:  $4 (includes T ride)

Description: At this time in the fall, the arboretum is very pretty with the changing leaves.  Feel free to engage in one of the several self-guided tours, or bring food for a picnic and just lounge around.  (Details on their website).  The Arboretum is accessible by T + 10 minute walk.

Note: In case of rain, this activity may be canceled.

2) Institute of Contemporary Art

Expected Cost: Admission is $10 for MIT Students with ID, $15 Otherwise. 

Description:  ICA is located on the busy Boston waterfront. ICA is celebrating its 75th year anniversary with exhibitions such as "Dance/Draw", a landmark exhibition exploring the dynamic exchange taking place between visual art and dance today.  ICA is accessible by T + 5 minute walk.

3) Museum of Science

Expected Cost: $4 for students with MIT ID, $26 Otherwise. Includes transportation.

Description:  The Museum of Science nearly speaks for itself. There are a number of interesting exhibits on display.  The museum is accessible by T-ride plus a short shuttle bus ride
