Heather "Pipa" Dawn Drake

MY identity is more than my name, or my face. It is about my thoughts, and dreams, and beliefs and ideals. These things enhance my life experiences and help define me as an individual.

I am currently a rising senior at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. At MIT I am in the class of 1999. Unfortunately it looks like I am going to be graduating a term late, due to switching majors and emotional-related problems. I live at <"http://www.mit.edu:8001/activities/random/RandomHall-home.html">Random Hall.

I am a Greek on Campus, and belong to the Zeta Mu chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta Fraternity. We are a realy dynamic group of women, and are involved in many activities on Campus. My Twin Star, Heidi, is in this past year's Pledge class. She really rocks, as does the rest of her class. This past year, I also got a Little Sister, Tamara Oei, who is in the same Pledge Class.

I was raised in Massachusetts, among my father's family, and have lived there most my life. My birthday is August 29, 1977. I am soon to approach the all-encompassing age of twenty-one years old this year. I am a virgo, and was born in the year of the Serpent.

Although I was not born into the tradition, I identify myself with Celtic Paganism. The Moral Code, and the traditions that support it are some of the most honorable. The most remarkable thing about the religion is the reverence and respect that they hold for the earth, and for all the living things that inhabit it, both people and animals. I idnetify with the ideals it upholds and respect the ancient traditions that are kept alive. Although I have my own path, I have always shared an interest in what other people believe, and have a great respect for all religions that do not promote the destruction of others and self.

Pipa is a name I gave myself on coming to MIT. It identifies me on Athena, the MIT network. It is my username, and it has a story to go along with it. I hope that you can read Spanish. You can also email me and tell me what you think of my pages.
