I am the Senior Pastor of Life Church, a Christian church in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. My wife Eva and I launched Life Church on November 2, 2003.
From September 8, 2008 through May 31, 2011 I was also a member of the Star Team in the Office of Educational Innovation and Technology (OEIT), which is a part of the Office Of The Dean For Undergraduate Education at MIT. My work for the Star Team was funded by a grant from the Davis Educational Foundation. OEIT is located in Building NE48-308. Here is my former OEIT staff web page.
From May 1, 2002 through October 31, 2003 I served as an Associate Pastor at Jubilee Christian Church (then known as New Covenant Christian Church) in Boston, Massachusetts.
From July 1982 through April 2002 I was an employee of the Information Systems and Technology (IS&T) department (formerly known as Information Systems or IS) at the MIT.
I am an MIT alumnus from the class of 1980 and a member of the MIT Educational Council. I am also an alumnus of the Columbia University Science Honors Program, the Hampshire College Summer Studies in Mathematics (HCCSiM), and the Bronx High School of Science (class of 1976). For those of you who are interested, you can check out my personal web page and my resume.
I fight internet rumors, hoaxes, and urban myths! I also have links to some useful information about computer related alerts (e.g. real computer viruses etc.).
Here is what I used to do at MIT (primarily within the Information Systems Department):
