The MIT Women's Chorale

Rehearsals

Rehearsals are held on Wednesday evenings from 7:15 to 9:30pm in the Emma Rogers Room (Building 10, room 340) at MIT. Be ready to sing by 7:30pm. We take a short break around 8:30pm for announcements and to rest our voices. We work hard to prepare for each concert, so a commitment to regular attendance is expected from our members. Practice on your own outside of rehearsal is not required, but it is recommended. This is especially helpful when many songs are sung in non-native languages. While our primary focus is singing, we end each evening with conversation over light refreshments provided by members on a rotating basis. We also hold a pot luck supper each semester. The interactions fostered by the Chorale have led to many life-long friendships.
