Career Fairs/The MIT Career office
This link will direct you to the Career Office website. There you will find plenty of resources to help you apply to summer internships and jobs after graduation. Walk in and have your resume critiqued for free as many times as you want! Attend the career counseling seminars that'll teach you about networking, job interviewing, and more. If you haven't had a real job interview before, go in for a mock interview.

Industry Contacts
Oftentimes, the best way to get connected is by combining various strategies. Ask professors who have taught you for company contacts. Ask upperclassmen to forward you emails for company internship opportunities that fall in your area of interest. Contact companies yourself, either through the business cards you've collected from networking or by submitting your resume to internship/job postings on comapany websites. Most biomedical/biotech companies are located either here in Massachusetts or in California. Below are links to company profiles to help you get started...
