Atlantis II Health and Safety SectionThe Health and Safety of Atlantis II and its crew/occupants is a concern for the entire mission. To ensure the health of all those aboard Atlantis II all aboard must pass a physical and psychological examination to prevent them from bringing any potential harmful conditions aboard the Station. All crew members will have to also undergo a training regime which encompasses Medical, disaster and operations training for the station. See Training Requirement for more information. To keep all aboard healthy we will maintain a routine resupply of fresh foodstuffs. Finally to ensure the health of all we require that a doctor be on the station at all times as well as two people trained in emergency medicine. The station will contain a modern Fire Suppression System to combat the most dangerous disaster that frequently occurs in submersibles. For crew safety, a strike Fire Regulation Code will be enforeced. The water and air of the station will also be filtered constantly and refreshed on regular occasions to ensure a safe water and air supply. The human waste and all the lab waste will also be shipped up on the transport regularly to ensure the safety of all aboard. Power systems will also need to be closely monitored and thus there is also a Power Regulation Code. Safety is a major concern as such great depths and pressures, and the Altantis II project is taking every considerable step in an effort to be both safe and secure.
