International Regulation
Nations around the world have become increasingly dependent on rare earth elements and other strategic minerals. As described in the lack of regulations page, this dependence has led to a diversity of challenges. Mission 2016 has concluded that it is essential to develop an international regulatory body devoted to strategic minerals, as well as regulations to guide international commerce, to protect the environment, and to ensure worker safety. We use REEs as a case study for dealing with strategic minerals on an international level.
