The following documents contain the current policies and rules that govern the MITBDC organization. Please address any concerns and questions to bdc-info@mit.edu.

MITBDC Constitution

The constitution, as ratified during the MIT BDC General Meeting on 14 March 2010, includes descriptions of the goals of the organization as well as the processes required for membership and election to office.

MITBDC By-Laws

The by-laws, as ratified during the MIT BDC General Meeting on 14 March 2010, include detailed explanations of officer duties.

Massachusetts Anti-Hazing Law
All student groups must have an officer sign the ASA Anti-Hazing Form to confirm that they will not participate in acts of hazing as the Massachusetts law states.

Membership policy

In compliance with MIT's regulations, the following BDC membership policies will be in effect beginning September 2010.

All MIT students who attend a BDC workshop will be considered members of BDC. They will receive a membership card at the first workshop they attend, and can show it along with a valid MIT student ID at the front desk for any event to have free admission.

Other BDC workshop participants are encouraged to sign-up as members of a Volunteer Committee, which will help with Club tasks such as publicizing events, setting up and cleaning up at social dances. Whoever joins the Volunteer Committee will be considered to be a member of BDC and may be appropriately granted free admission to workshops and/or social dances in proportion to his/her volunteer efforts.

Otherwise, an uniform fee schedule will be applied to all attending a BDC event.
