Reviewing Progress

The Steering Committee will evaluate the following to assess progress.
  • Progress vs. Milestones: At mid-year, the Core Directors and Participating Investigators of the bridging projects will provide the Steering Committee with a brief report of the status of their progress with respect to the milestones set at the beginning of the year. As appropriate, the Steering Committee may agree to revise the milestones (accelerate or decelerate) for the remainder of the year.

  • Effectiveness of the Core Resources: The annual report will describe the activities and effectiveness of each Core in the context of its role in the overall program.

  • Progress Toward Specific Aim: The Bioinformatics Core (B) will supply information deposited in the Central Database since the last review by program participants relevant for each Specific Aim for each targeted CBP.

  • Annual Participating Investigators Meeting: An annual meeting of all Participating Investigators will be held to present the progress of the project. Investigators and Subgroup members will evaluate progress toward the overall goal for each CBP and create opportunities for greater program synergy and integration. It will also represent an opportunity to update investigators on the status of the Cores. The Steering Committee will receive feedback and suggestions for Core priorities and information on ways to improve program administration.

  • Role of the Advisory Committee: The Steering Committee will review the Advisory Committee's annual report in its overall evaluation of the component parts of the project.
