Upperclass Small Groups

The small groups of KCF are intended to provide a more intimate time for growth and fellowship than can be provided at our large group meetings. Small groups range in size from about 3 to 7 members, and are divided by gender as well as geographically. The specific activities done in each small group are up to the leader of the group; however, this generally includes a time of sharing, prayer, and study.

This term, guided by Richard Foster's Celebration of Discpline, small groups will meet weekly to learn about different facets of a Christian's expression of faith in direct, concrete ways. Here, both the young and the mature in faith can learn tangible practices which help foster greater intimacy with God.

Freshman Mob

This year, for the first time, rather than gender-specific freshmen small groups, we will be having the freshman mob. It is a mixture of a large group and small group activities. It's a time of learning about God in fun and exciting ways. It's a refreshing time for freshmen to gather in the pursuit of God among friends.

Freshman will meet in the mob format for their first term at MIT; afterwards, they will be encouraged to join more traditional small groups.

For more information, or if you would like to join a KCF small group, please contact mitkcf-request.
