- Waterfall Method
- A traditional linear model of the software development process that suggests each phase of development could be completed independently and passes its results onto the next phase.
- Web Application
- An Administrative Computing product based around SAP web transactions. Specifically, an SAP transaction with a web user-interface.
- Wizard/Assistant
- A special type of dialog box that takes a user through a step-by-step procedure to simplify what might otherwise be a more complex procedure. "Wizard" is the term used in Windows. "Assistant" is the term for the Mac OS.
- Wizard Pages
- A set of transaction pages that guide a user through an ordered step-by-step workflow. The format is usually "begin, continue, continue,...finish."
