Anchorage 2012 Chicago 2012 WOMEN'S INITIATIVE INSPIRING TOMORROW'S ENGINEERS TODAY There are approximately 16 million female students enrolled in middle schools and high schools in the United States today. Of these girls, only about 1% will go on to receive a degree in engineering, while 8% of the boys they go to school with will receive engineering degrees. Women's Initiative is working to change this, one presentation at a time.
