...Urban Waves Nursery
Their nursery is located at 46th Street and Fairmount, just a block and a half east of their school. The Sulzberger Middle School students are the core to the success of the urban nursery, and their effects are seen and felt throughout the Mill Creek Neighborhood. The trees they care for and grow will spread out into the neighborhood in arcs and waves, rippling across the urban fabric. The arcs of trees will be a signature of the hard work of the Sulzberger kids, as they show up in previously vacant lots which are transformed into parks and greenspaces throughout the area.
