Teaching Overview
I generally teach 12.003: Introduction to Atmosphere, Ocean, and Climate Dynamics in the fall (taught Fall 2017-2020, 2022-2023) and 12.315/12.815: Atmospheric Radiation and Convection in the spring (taught Spring 2018-2020, 2023, and Fall 2016). 12.003 provides a general introduction to climate for undergrads, and 12.315/12.815 goes into much more detail on vertical heat transport mechanisms in planetary atmospheres. I have also helped teach a first-year graduate student course in EAPS (Fall 2018-2020).
