Hologram Demo
This idea for a customized kiosk draws from the MIT museum holography exhibit. Instead of just showing a figure of how holograms are made, this kiosk takes the exhibit one step further by showing a typical setup for creating holograms. The scope of the project hasn’t determined how accurately this process will be portrayed, but concepts like reflection and beam splitting can be demonstrated with simple lenses and mirrors. At the end of this demo, the visitor will receive a hologram sticker with their name printed on it. This will help explain the science behind holograms, and the visitor gets to walk away with something shiny!
