after hot wiring the door, guests enter the director's residential compound.

inside, guests cannot see the room because everything is pitch black and all
around them there is a ticking.

slowly, the lights come on to reveal a clock makers workshop - the director
builds and repairs clocks as a hobby. three clocks are lit up - these clocks do
not appear to be working

.

across the room is a door - guests try the door and discover that it is locked
guests are drawn to the three lit areas and discover that each is a puzzle.

clock 1: pendulum clock...

clock 2: sundial

the sundial is illuminated by the desk lamp. at the base of the triangle is a
small cutout. when the dial is rotated so that the shadow from the lamp is
aligned with the cutout a button is revealed (or even without the button) the
outline of the secret panel is revealed on the opposite wall. (this puzzle is
not required to exit the room...unless there is still a group in the next
room).

clock 3: gears...

door opens on the wall behind the gear clock after both the pendulum and gear
clocks have been solved. The gears then fall down into the clock base.
