MIT Women's Technology Program

Community

The Mechanical Engineering track of WTP will be an in person day program for summer 2023, requiring students to commute to MIT each day. Housing will not be provided.

The program will be completely FREE - there is no cost to apply or attend.

For the in person day program in Summer 2023, lunch will be provided free of cost. Financial assistance with daily public transportation commuting costs to MIT will be offered to admitted students if these expenses constitute a hardship for their family.

All program materials will be provided free of charge. In order to ensure that all students are able to fully participate in WTP, we will give students loaner laptops with the software they need to do their coursework.

Daily classes will occur Mon - Fri from approximatly 9:30 AM - 5:00 PM, with occaisional evening hours (dinner included). We are planning some weekend academic field trips and social outings.
