Convenience: Centralized App
I got the idea for a centralized app for the T when using Google Maps while navigating the T. Google Maps made the experience much nore convenient, yet it didn't have everything that a user would need. The T app would give users specific directions, making navigating much less complicated while reducing the need for maps and signs, which can be confusing. Also, the directions could have an audio option and give more personalized directions over headphones that could be easily heard, even on a noisy bus. It would also allow users to pay for their trips, manager their account, and get timely delay notifications, all in one place! The app could be advertised at all the stops and on the buses and trains to allow for easy adoption.
