Directions to MIT

Bus - From 360 Huntington Avenue, walk to Massachusetts Avenue. Take the #1 Harvard Station bound bus. The bus stops at 77 Massachusetts Avenue, MIT (8 stops) The stop is at a large crosswalk with a stoplight. On one side of the street are steps leading up to large Ionic columns and the small dome of MIT; on the other side of the street is the Stratton Student Center and Kresge Oval (an open, grass-covered area). Additionally, the CT1 (Crosstown bus) stops at the MIT stop on Massachusetts Avenue.

Trains - Green and Red Line

From the Northeastern University Station, take the Green Line (E) Lechmere bound train and get off at Park Street. Follow signs to the Red Line trains. Take the Red Line train Alwife bound and get off at Kendall/MIT (2 stops).

Trains - Orange and Red Line

From 360 Huntington Ave., walk about 2 minutes to Ruggles T Station (Orange Line). Take the train heading to Oak Grove and get off at Downtown Crossing (5 stops). Follow the signs to the Red Line Alewife bound trains. Take the train and get off at Kendall/MIT (3 stops).

From Northeastern University 360 Huntington Avenue, Boston head north on Hemenway St. toward Hemenway Terrace 0.3 mi. Turn right onto Boylston St. 430 ft; turn left onto Massachusetts Ave. 0.8 mi arrive at Massachusetts Institute of Technology 77 Massachusetts Avenue, Cambridge. The total distant is 1.1 miles.
