The morning crew at Starbucks arrives half an hour before opening time to set up. The shift supervisor and a barista, or coffee server, have to do relatively little work to open the store compared to the amount of work that went into closing the store the night before. Although on this particular morning, the closing shift has hidden the pastries around the store to make the morning crew's job a bit more challenging.
