Dining Room Sarah, Annie, and Reg are eating breakfast and Norman walks in. All refuse to talk to him. The three all leave Norman to eat by himself, and soon thereafter Ruth, his wife, walks in. Norman attempts to tell Ruth why he really came down to visit but she doesn't believe him. Eventually Ruth walks out into the Garden to ponder things a bit.
