Ruth and Sarah are out here chatting for a bit when the men have announced that the car is ready to go. Annie comes out from the house to say farewell to everyone and they all leave. Tom remains and proposes to Annie. Then ten minutes later Ruth, Norman, Sarah, and Reg return because Norman has crashed the car. Tom and Reg walk into the house leaving Norman with the three women. One by one each leave Norman as Norman tries to appeal to them. Norman is now left alone in the Garden.
