I'm now a Senior Mechanical Engineer in Research at iRobot in the Government/Industrial division. These days, I'm mostly working on a DARPA project. If you're interested in working at irobot, click here. It's the best parts of what I remember of MIT IS and Media Lab in the 90's and you get paid more. It is company policy you build cool stuff and have fun, as per iRobot's mission.
I love my job, but if you've got a killer position somewhere else, feel free to contact me. I used to be a Postdoctoral Associate at MIT with the Environmentally Benign Manufacturing Laboratory at MIT led by Professor Timothy Gutowski. This lab in 35-005 is a research group under the auspices of the Laboratory for Manufacturing and Productivity. I'll be giving a presentation at the ICEE conference this year! I've ended my Tenure as a GRT at Senior House (70 Amherst St.) I've since moved to 18 Acorn Street, which is around the corner from Pika.
