2.810, Manufacturing Processes and Systems, is mainly concerned with the production of a set of remote control race cars. This involves the design and fabrication of a variety fo components including a aluminum cast chassis, plastic body, suspension, control system, wheels and drive-train.

My team's design had several innovative components, including a quick-change remote control box and an independent front suspension with zero camber when turning. I was responisble for part of the fabrication, including the design and CNC maching of the chassis mold and the fabricaiton of the suspension. I also made the plastic body panels and painted them.
