Thierry is a founding partner of INDEVAL Switzerland. He holds degrees in economics and finance from Harvard University, London Business School, and Columbia University with highest honours (Phi Beta Kappa).
Thierry acted as expert in a broad range of international litigation and arbitration cases around the world, in particular in arbitration involving States and international organizations both at private and governmental levels, relating to war damages, transfer of technology, construction and investments contracts, joint venture and shareholders' agreements, distribution and
sale and purchase agreements, and the like. Venues included international tribunals and organizations (ICC International Court of Arbitration, London Court of Arbitration, World Bank ICSID, Adam Smith Institute) and various regulatory bodies including United Nations, French Prime
Minister's office and the European Commission.
From 1997 to 2001, he acted as First Officer in the UN Security Council's valuation and verification of claims brought against Iraq by Kuwaiti corporations or financial institutions. Between 2004 and 2006, he acted as advisor on two files under the Permanent Status Negotiations between Israel and Palestine.
