LBRC outside projects
Collaborative projects
Besides the above mentioned core project, we are also actively involved in the following collaborative projects:
Probing ion interaction with carbon nanotubes using Raman spectroscopy
Collaborator: Professor Michael S. Strano, Department of Chemical Engineering, MIT.
Single walled carbon nanotubes grown on a silicon substrate by chemical vapor deposition will be characterized using Raman spectroscopy. Raman spectral changes will be investigated as the nanotubes interact with ions such as NaCl, KCl, and ferricyanide. Sample excitation will be done with multiple laser wavelengths.
Raman spectroscopy of nanoparticles and ligands
Collaborator: Professor Andrei Tokmakoff, Department of Chemistry, MIT. |
