Welcome to ET!
ET is an independent living group for MIT students. Located
in suburban Brookline, MA, ET is our home for college and it
could be yours, too! We welcome all undergraduates and graduate
students regardless of gender, race, nationality, or sexual
orientation. Our recent members have included foreign exchange
students, a native speaker of Indonesian, a course 22 major, and
a resident of Wyoming. If you are reasonable, responsible, and
like group living, you'll probably fit in here. If you're a bit
on the quirky side, even better!

ET was something truly special. ET alums have stayed close in
a way that is not true of people from many of the dorms. It is very rare, I
think, for a 32-year-old to have so many friends that he sees regularly and
frictionlessly, especially today, and I think it's entirely owed to the fact
that I lived at ET when I did. I feel very blessed.

Our members speak!
ET is a place where the silliest ideas can
come to life. None of my housemates ever said "that's too
weird". It was always "Sure, I'll run to the store to grab
supplies" or "What if we took it even further?" For the
first time I understood the joy of doing things in a large
group of people where we build on each other's laughter and
sense of fun.
