Career office
This link will
direct you to the Career Office website. There you will find plenty of
resources to help you apply to summer internships and jobs after
graduation. Walk in and have your resume critiqued for free as many
times as you want! Attend the career counseling seminars that'll teach
you about networking, job interviewing, and more. If you haven't had a
real job interview before, go in for a mock interview.
Industry Contacts
Oftentimes, the best way to get
connected is by combining various strategies. Ask professors who have
taught you for company contacts. Ask upperclassmen to forward you
emails for company internship opportunities that fall in your area of
interest. Contact companies yourself, either through the business cards
you've collected from networking or by submitting your resume to
internship/job postings on comapany websites. Most biomedical/biotech
companies are located either here in Massachusetts or in California.
