2012 ThaiROP Research Projects

  • Optimize a chromatography procedure using an FPLC instrument to remove residual host cell proteins, host cell DNA, and other impurities from a protein drug product.

  • Develop and implement a high-throughput screening technique to assess a new chromatography medium for the removal of protein aggregates and other impurities from a protein drug product.

  • Optimize an HPLC size-exclusion method for accurately and reproducibly quantifying aggregate impurities in a purified protein drug product.

  • Assess the performance of chromatography steps in removing impurities and achieving high recovery yields of a protein product using ELISA methods to quantify protein product amounts and levels of host cell proteins.
