Welcome!

Are you planning to apply for salary funding for the ThaiROP 2012 summer research program at CRI in Bangkok Thailand? 

If so, these are the next steps to take:
  1. Review the information on CRI, CRI Research and Applications (see side-bar to left).
  2. 2. Send your CV and Research Proposal to thairop2012@mit.edu by MARCH 11th.
Once you have identified that these research projects are of interest to you, please notify the ThaiROP coordinators <thairop2012@mit.edu> by email. You can ask any follow-up questions you may have on the selected programs and they will help you identify an MIT supervisor to assist you in preparing your UROP proposal.

UROP Salary Application Award Schedule

The UROP office will let you know about salary funding approximately 2 weeks after the April 19th submission deadline (~ May 1st).


April 19th Deadline for ThaiROP 2012 Applications

Are planning to apply for funding for the ThaiROP 2012 summer research program? This funding is necessary in order for you to receive a summer salary for doing research at CRI in Bangkok Thailand. If so, remember that the deadline is Thursday, April 19th.

These are the steps to follow:
  1. Review the information in the ThaiROP 2012 website.
  2. Review the UROP website for information on applying for summer salary funding for overseas research: http://web.mit.edu/urop/apply/index.html
  3. An MIT faculty member participating in the MIT/CGI program will be assigned to you to assist you in finalizing your UROP research proposal.
  4. Complete the UROP travel forms: http://web.mit.edu/urop/basicinfo/forms/index.html
